The Loon Lakes Management Association will no longer pick up your raked weeds. In reviewing the hours spent on picking up your weeds and disposing of them, it was concluded that this was not cost effective for the weed crew or for the homeowners. The weed crew was spending 25-30% of their time picking up weeds at a cost of $45/load. This time and effort was taking away from their time cutting the weeds on both lakes. The weed cutting is their main concern during the summer months for the benefit of all our homeowners.
This said, the harvester will begin the cutting season on June 15, 2018.
